I can't believe it's been one year since starting this journey y'all. My mom and baby sister really did an amazing job with helping my mission to spread overdose and fentanyl poisoning awareness. I couldn't have done any of this without mom's planning and Meelzie's documenting of everything. We were fortunate to take a trip of a lifetime and turned it into something even more meaningful. We met so many amazing people along the way, like Jen, Diane, Trina and Roni. I hope you guys are doing well if any of you are reading this!!
I know it's been hard for mom and Amelia to keep up on posting since we've been back, and I know it'll keep being hard since mom got a job that she loves and keeps her busy and Amelia keeps doing her social media cleanses and has bootcamp soon. Oh, didn't I tell y'all!!?? My baby sister joined the Air force! Way to go girlie! But yeah, she'll be away from a computer for a while. Don't worry, she has plans to schedule a few posts while she's gone.
I don't have much to update on as far as Cody DeGrave goes. He was offered a plea deal and did not take it, so it looks like we'll be going to trial at some point later this year. I'm gonna need all my people there!
Shatterproof constantly amazes us with their support. Not only did they help Amelia fundraise for her short film, but they also sent us some t-shirts!
And speaking of short films, GUYS. Meelzie is being humble but F*ck that! Her short film is SOOO cute. And it's inspired by yours truly. What can I say? I'm a god damn inspiration!
Anyhoo, I believe that is all the new stuff going on right now. Please keep safe y'all! Remember to use your resources if you or a loved one ever needs help. Addiction is a bitch, but we got this!
